Have you heard about the proposal in Greenburgh, Westchester County to allow retirees to work part time for the town in order to "work off" part of their property taxes (at $7/hour)? It's an interesting idea to capitalize on experience and prevent some people from being driven from their homes by taxes.
Do you think it's a fair exchange? I'm trying to decide.
