'My Account' Help

This section of the website offers users the ability to sign on and register an account with ElderNetworkNY. There is no cost to register either for an individual or a business, and it’s easy. To register on the site as an individual please follow these steps:

  • Click on My Account.

  • Under Become a member, click on the blue link Register here.

  • Add your name, address and phone # in the appropriate boxes.

  • Click on next.

  • For the Accessibility Options choose the font level that is appropriate for you (the large font will increase the size of the text), then click next.

  • Select any Newsletter Subscriptions that you’d like to receive. The newsletter subscriptions are sent out to keep users informed about the website. Choose one, all, or none, and then select next.

  • In the Sign Up for Your New Account section enter your user name, password (2 times), your e-mail address, and a security question and answer. A security question is something whose answer tells you what your password is. A good example is if your password is the name of your spouse or child. The question would be ‘what’s my son’s name?’ The answer gives you the password.

  • Click on ‘create my account’ in order to finish.


To register as a business please follow these steps:



  • Click on My Account.

  • Under Register your Business, click on the blue link Register here.

  • Follow the same steps as above for registering as an individual and then:

  • On the My Account page, you will see various tabs. Click on the ‘Businesses’ tab.

  • On the Businesses page, click on ‘Associate Yourself with an Existing Business.’

  • There are instructions on the page to assist you. You will need to type in the name of the business you would like to be associated with, and click ‘Finish’ when done.
